We are normal everyday people who have experienced a tragic event.

The stillbirth of our dear son Jake Canter has impacted on the lives of a tremendous number of people. Our families and friends have given us amazing support throughout this traumatic time for which we are eternally grateful.

There have been some positives to come out of this situation with the launch of NMSF, Jake's charity which is helping to improve maternity care in the UK. Our relationship has become so much stronger as a result of the terrible situation.

Above all we do not want Jake's death to be in vain.
